Moved to St.Ives c. 1897, member of St.Ives Society of Artists.
A fine example of this artists work showing waves breaking onto rocks at Porthmeor beach. The picture comes with a fragment of the original frame backing paper which has the following inscription :-
"John Bromley painted in St.Ives. This drawing was purchased in 1927 at the Summer Show of the St.Ives Society. It is of the Beach at Porthmeor"
