Garlick Barnes

  Born London 1891. Studied at Sydney Cooper School of Art and at Heatherleys but did not take up full time painting until her children had grown. Became a pupil of Walter Sickert in 1936 and exhibited with him in Margate. Moved to St.Ives in early 1940's. Was still exhibiting in St.Ives at theage of 93.
